
Dr. Myneni is a board certified gastroenterologist who is practicing gastroenterology with Iowa Digestive Disease Center since 2003. He practices general gastroenterology with special interest in Esophageal diseases. He is proficient not only in colonoscopy and upper endoscopy but also ERCP, Barrett’s ablation procedures ( Barrx procedure ), esophageal pH and motility testing and capsule endoscopy.
Dr. Myneni graduated with a MBBS degree from Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, India. He completed his residency in Internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology from Southern Illinois University hospitals in Springfield, Illinois. He taught and practiced gastroenterology at Springfield Clinic for two years before he moved to central Iowa and joined IDDC.
He continues to teach medical students at Des Moines University and resident physicians at Mercy Medical Center and Lutheran hospital residency programs. He serves the veterans at the Des Moines area VA hospital. He also volunteers at Free clinics of Iowa.
He enjoys travelling with his family, landscape & travel photography and playing golf.
